Welcome back! ~Jewriken.GIF 23:26, 25 March 2007 (UTC)

Thanks, I was lucky to be allowed to come back. I've tried my hand at a few unnews stories, but somehow it's not working quite as well as it did before my little indiscretion. I'm hoping the funny comes back, I have a few ideas but my execution so far has been short of what I'd like to be seeing. --Hrodulf 23:28, 25 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Fedco thingy

Yeah, that was short and unintelligible, so I huffed it. For some reason it's not showint up on my huff log, but I will try to restore it for you in the near future if possible. Apologies for the inconvenience. rev. zim_ulator (Talk - Edits Logs) I am the dirt under your rollers. 22:00, 29 March 2007 (UTC)

It was written in psuedo Newspeak, which was why it was unintelligable. Sadly I did not back it up. Just a misunderstanding, I can probably recreate it. --Hrodulf 00:37, 30 March 2007 (UTC)

For having the courage to come back to Uncyclopedia. --General Insineratehymn 21:28, 4 April 2007 (UTC)

Thanks! Now if only my ability to write lead template quality unnews stories would come back also . . . I'm having a writer's block of massive proportions. I have ideas but can't develop them. Just earlier I thought about Iran releasing a bottled water called "Iranian Waters" because of the hostage crisis, but I realized it wouldn't work without a picture of the bottle and I didn't think I could make a good enough one by the time the story was still fresh news, and didn't know how to write a lot about the release of the product, so I gave up on it. I'm hoping things get better regarding my contributions, because right now, I suck. --Hrodulf 21:46, 4 April 2007 (UTC)
Yeah, it would be great if someone could sort out an image for something like that. -- Sir Mhaille Image:Icons-flag-gb.png (talk to me)
That's great, now I guess I have to write the article while the story's fresh. The ad copy should be "Iranian Waters, Now 100% British Sailor Free!" Thanks for the picture, you'll get credit on my userpage for it. --Hrodulf 12:48, 5 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] George Zimmer

Was there something wrong with the article? MajinVegeta 19:46, 10 April 2007 (UTC)

No, I liked it and decided to save a copy in case it got huffed. --Hrodulf 23:13, 10 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] WTF?

What's up with all this sensible and rational stuff RE: the VT forum discussion? First you stick up for the admins, then you rationally point out that we have at least some image to uphold, and you finish with the astute observation that anyone can make the article in userspace and if it's funny enough, it will get moved to mainspace. I've been reading and reading, but I haven't been able to add anything, since you pretty much covered it all. How the hell do you pull a complete 180 like this? You amaze me. And, uh, nice work. Bone_F_clear.png Sir Famine, Gun Petition » 05/7 21:30

Well, I wasn't thinking the whole thing through, I just was annoyed by people who were butting their heads against an obviously needed site policy so I decided to do what I could to bring some closure to this. I was also concerned that if I let this argument go on it could become another war and that's the last thing I want, since it was such a chore to clean up the battlefield after the last one. You should understand more than anyone else. --Hrodulf 22:02, 7 May 2007 (UTC)
I do indeed. Thanks for all you're doing. Bone_F_clear.png Sir Famine, Gun Petition » 05/8 02:11

[edit] Hello There!

Another infrequent visitor returns....nice to see you back. -- Sir Mhaille Image:Icons-flag-gb.png (talk to me)

Sorry I havn't been around I've been very busy at work and also ever since the late 2006 "famine won't leave my house incident" I feel that my creativity, which was limited to begin with, has plummeted. Ever since that article about the drunk guy mistaken a hospital emergency room for a bar called "emergency," my output has suffered I think. I was going to write an article recently about Russia attacking the US state of Georgia but I saw the joke had been done already so I didn't do it. I wish I could contribute more but I just havn't had any good ideas lately.
As for work I had to put out six legal papers in the last week alone, some of which were insanely complex, and something like seven motions on big cases in the last couple months. It's a combination of my job and lack of ideas that's led to my absence here. The job probably won't change but maybe if I have more ideas I can find more things to do here. It's too bad nobody reads old unnews. I pretty much stuck to that since I don't really have enough ideas to write a full fledged article and it's ok for unnews to be shorter, the problem is, they have a shelf life.

--Hrodulf 14:54, 16 August 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Boooooo!!!!

Sorry, didn't mean to startle you. I was thinking of stealing some pictures off your home pages. You have waaay to much time on your hands!!

Has it been 18 months, and you're still here.
Well you might not be, but I'm going to pretend you are. I might even pretend you are a reptilian alien from Sirius or Betelgeuse, I'll think about that.

What have you been up to?
--Frogturd 20:55, 24 August 2008 (UTC)

Nothing exciting, just legal work. I've tapered off on my contributions because I havn't been inspired . . . for about a year and a half now. As for my userpage, yes it's ridiculous, some day I may just wipe it all and start over. That day has not come yet.

How about you?

--Hrodulf 20:53, 27 August 2008 (UTC)

I was delighted to see my Huddersfield contributions made up most of an article in our local paper. That was about 2 months ago. That inspired me to start writing here again. Then today had another run-in with an admin who reverted all the edits I made to a couple of things - within minutes!! He must be bored. There seems to a lot less activity here than last time i was around, a bit disappointing. Anyway, I'm off again, though I might visit from time to time to see what's going on. I've been very busy setting up new linux servers at work, writing procedures manuals (not much scope for comedy writing and keeping my job) and moving users from M$ office to open office etc etc. Now don't laugh, but I'm beginning to think things were much better before PC's. We did things like read, walk, socialise face to face and eat proper food. I'm thinking about the priesthood or my own religion. A few accolytes at 10% of gross income .......

Did you maybe, just maybe, stop to think that perhaps the reason you have so many run ins with admins is because, you're doing something....wrong? ~Jewriken.GIF 14:12, 28 August 2008 (UTC)

No, I'm not doing anything wrong except maybe poke the vanity of admins. Anyway, did you see my user page? Why revert the unamerican thing. This self-deprecation thing Yanks have sunk into is not funny, and I'm not anti or un American. They need a kick up the arse.

So what you're saying basically is that the three different admins that handled with you in the past, are all vain? Indeed, that makes sense. ~Jewriken.GIF 14:32, 28 August 2008 (UTC)
My advice (to Frogturd), read How to Get Started editing. Here is a link: Uncyclopedia:How To Get Started Editing. There, problem solved. Hrodulf 19:32, 28 August 2008 (UTC)
